*Conference Registration fee includes Welcome Reception (Thursday evening) and General Session Presentations. Anyone attending workshops, roundtables, or Friday evening dinner must pay the conference registration fee. 

Important: Please enclose payment in full with your registration. The registration fee must be paid by all attendees. Partial payments and faxed registrations cannot be accepted. Hotel reservations must be made separately, directly with the hotel.

Please do not send your registration to the ASI Administrative office. 

Refund Policy.  Requests for refunds must be made in writing to Margie Towery, Co-registrar. Full refunds will be issued for requests postmarked by March 1, 1998. A 50% refund will be issued for requests postmarked from March 1, 1998 to April 15, 1998. Requests postmarked after April 15, 1998 cannot be honored. All refunds will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee. Refund checks will be issued within 6 weeks after the end of the conference. 

Workshops, roundtable discussions, and the Friday Awards Banquet are limited and will be filled on a first-received basis on receipt of the completed registration form and registration fee plus fees for workshops, roundtables, and/or Awards Banquet.

Our conference hotel is conveniently located in the center of downtown Seattle. The conference rate is $135.00 plus tax per night for single/double occupancy (see bottom of registration form if you want ASI to help you find a roommate). This rate is guaranteed until April 1, 1998. When calling for reservations, state that you are attending the ASI conference to receive the conference rate. 

Tours, Outings, and Informal Groups 

Sites within easy walking distance of the hotel include Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, Waterfront Park, the Seattle Art Museum, Pioneer Square, and the monorail terminal (where you can catch a ride to Seattle’s famous Space Needle). There are also over 150 fine art galleries just minutes away from the hotel. A table will be provided to sign up for local tours or to arrange outings with others. Special Interest Groups may also post meeting times here.
