About the Conference
You are invited to take part in New Frontiers in Indexing, the
American Society of Indexers (ASI) Annual Conference, which is celebrating
its 30th Anniversary with the Indexing and Abstracting Society of Canada/Societe canadienne
pour l'analyse de documents (IASC/SCAD) May 13-16, 1998, at Cavanaugh’s Inn in Seattle Conference. Attendees
include freelance and in-house indexers and editors, technical writers,
faculty from colleges and universities, software developers, corporations,
publishing houses, and others involved with the publishing industry. This
year’s conference will also include attendees from the Australian Society
of Indexers (AusSI) and the Society of Indexers (SI) in the United Kingdom.

Exhibitor Information
Exhibitor space is limited, assigned on a first-come, first served
basis. To make certain your space is reserved, please return the enclosed
registration invoice as soon as possible to:

Exhibitor Fees:
$175 includes a 6’ table in the Exhibitor Hall, admission to the General
Sessions, invitation to the Welcome Reception, and a copy of the PhotoDirectory
(which serves as our list of attendees, with names and addresses) at the
conclusion of the conference. The exhibiting area should be locked at night.
Exhibit Hall Hours:
Noon to 6:00 p.m. each day of the conference.

Sponsor Information
Types of Sponsors and Suggested Costs:
Major Conference Sponsor $5,000.00
Funds provided by the major sponsor will go to support the overall
costs of the Photo Directory. Shared sponsorship could be considered
Welcome Reception Wine & Cheese Sponsors $ 750.00
The Exhibitor’s fee will be waived for wine & cheese sponsors,
and sponsors will be listed in the Conference Program.
Refreshment Break Sponsors $ 500.00
Funds will be used to offset the costs of a general refreshment
break. Appropriate signage will be on display during the break that is
sponsored.
Conference Supporters $ 250.00
Funds will be used to offset equipment costs and other general
costs of operating the conference. All Conference Supporters will be listed
in the Conference Program.
