Friday, June 11, Panel Presentations.  You will have the opportunity to pick from four topics and hear experts in the fields: 

    Editor-Indexer Relations will discuss how the respective companies hire their indexers, the specifications and standards you would expect the index to meet, financial considerations, and, of course, scheduling.

    Panelists: Peace Kwiatek, Index Editor, McGraw-Hill Higher Education Group, Burr Ridge, IL; Sandra Metz Botz, Assistant Editor, Human Kinetics, Champaign, IL; Dr. David Noble from JIST Works, Indianapolis

    Working with Packagers will explain just what packaging is and how indexers can find work with them.

    Scholarly Offerings will cover indexing for scholarly books.

    Indexing Technology in the 21st Century panelists will include Lori Lathrop (moderator), Bill Meischeid, Seth Maislin, and Dick Evans. They will discuss what they think the future of indexing will look like.
