Gatherings and Meetings

Music at the ASI Conference

Players:
Willa MacAllen and Marilyn Rowland will be organizing those who want to get together to play in small ensembles. You don't have to bring music unless you want to. Write to them and let them know what instrument you play and they will take care of the rest.

Singers:
Karen Lane is organizing the singing, along with Do Mi Stauber and Paula Durbin-Westby. If you like to sing, you're just what we're looking for. You don't have to bring music or even read music, although if you do, that's fine too. The last couple of years a dozen or so of us have gathered for a couple of evenings of musical fellowship and lots of fun. We sang a varied repertoire -- folk, classical, etc. -- and a great time was had by all.

If you're interested in making music with your indexing friends and colleagues, e-mail us for more info or just to let us know that you're interested:

Players contact:
Marilyn Rowland marisol@marisol.com
Willa MacAllen macallen@mindspring.com

Singers contact:
Karen Lane klane@klane.com

A few weeks before the meeting, we'll be in touch with everyone who contacted us and we can do some further planning then.
