ASI MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
Regular Member: Open to all interested persons: Professional indexers, editors, publishers, librarians, and anyone interested in indexing. Includes the right to vote and a subscription to Key Words, our quarterly newsletter. All other benefits of membership apply.
Organizational Member: Includes
three copies of each issue of Key Words, access to the on-line ASI Membership
Directory, affiliation with one ASI Chapter, and voting rights for one individual.
Discounted meeting registration at the member rate is available for an unlimited
number of employees. Please provide 2 additional names of individuals who should
receive the extra issues of Key Words but will not receive other member benefits.
Sustaining Organizational Member:
Includes six copies of each issue of Key Words, access to the ASI Membership
Directory, one free listing in the Indexer Locator, three affiliations with
ASI Chapters, and voting rights for one individual. Discounted meeting registrations
at the member rate are available for an unlimited number of employees. This membership
also includes discounts on advertising and exhibit space at the Annual Meeting.

PUBLICATIONS:
The Indexer, The International Journal of Indexing has been published
in the U.K. since 1958 for members of all the indexing societies worldwide.
It enables professional indexers to not only update their techniques and skills,
but also facilitates the sharing of a wealth of professional knowledge among
the indexing community.
SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIGS):
ASI SIGs are organized by indexing specialty and serve as networking sources
and marketing tools for their members. They do this by means of Email lists,
newsletters, brochures, and ASI meetings. Each SIG will collect its own dues.
Please indicate any SIGs that interest you, and ASI will send your contact information
to the SIG leader.
