In keeping with ASI’s goals of providing educational resources, the organization has developed an ongoing series of webinars. The subjects include topics for indexers in general, specialty-specific topics, and discussions of interest to editors and others in the broader publishing community. Webinars can be viewed in real-time when they are broadcast or later, as a recording. ASI members receive a discounted rate, although all webinars are available to anyone interested in the topic.
ASI plans to continue adding to its library of webinars available for viewing and to expand the topics covered. It is expected that an additional 8 to 10 webinars will be broadcast every year. Suggestions for topics to be covered can be sent to the Webinar Committee Chairperson, currently Jennifer Spanier (firstname.lastname@example.org).
