I hold a PhD in film and media history. My practice is informed by:
1) formal training through ASI; 2) examination of hundreds of indexes over the course of a 20-year scholarly career; and 3) observations about how novice readers approach indexes (made while mentoring students on research projects).

I am actively engaged in educating myself about anti-racist and anti-transphobic indexing practices, and invite dialogue on this subject with authors and fellow indexers.

Visit bethcorzoduchardt.com/ for more information about the range of services I provide, including archival research, copyright licensing, and editing.
