The American Society for Indexing condemns systemic racism and police brutality, and we support those who speak out against it. As an association, we condemn all forms of racism, discrimination and social injustice. As an organization, we pride ourselves on being a supportive and welcoming community, but it is clear we have more work to do. We recognize change is necessary at all levels of society, including our own organization, and are exploring our role and how we can take practical actions to improve. We welcome comments as we commit to doing this work.
