SKY Index Pro: Minimizing editing for increased efficiency

with Anne Fifer, D.O.

SKY Index Pro provides a number of tools that can be used to minimize the editing required for your completed index. Careful dictionary management, editing, and creating specialized dictionaries for specific projects can make your work faster and easier. Exporting the Autocomplete list and use for vocabulary control can also help minimize the time spent on editing. Groups and label use while you work will increase efficiency. Finally, using the error check at the end will help you send out a great index.

A long-term user of SKY Indexing Pro, Anne Fifer will provide an inside look at how SKY users can tap into the program's key tools to increase efficiency and speed. Whether you are a newer SKY user or an experienced one, join Anne to learn tips and tricks to enhance your indexing skill.

Best Practices for Optimal Viewing

We wanted to share a few best practices to improve your viewing experience of this webinar presentation. Please be aware that the setup of your computer and software impacts the quality of your connection.

Note that this useful info from YouTube, via which attendees receive the streamed presentation, says, "To give you the best viewing experience possible on your computer, YouTube adjusts the quality of your video stream from standard definition (such as 240p or 360p) to high definition (720p or 1080p), based on the speed of your Internet connection (bandwidth). This is why you may notice that the quality of your video changes as you watch videos."

For an optimum experience, we recommend that you turn off other computer applications. Ask others at your location to avoid excessive use of the internet such as video streaming. Use a wired connection, rather than wireless, if possible. Also ensure that your browser is updated. It is good practice to reboot your computer before joining the live event.

While most webinars go off without a hitch, if you happen to experience connection issues, remember that you can view the replay on the ASI website within an hour of the end of the live session.
