Tour the Desert Botanical Garden

Meet at the hotel 8:30 am; Tour 9 am to 11 am

As a group, we’ll visit the Desert Botanical Garden (DBG) where you can enjoy an unparalleled look at the the plants of the desert.

Centrally located in beautiful Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden is a wondrous and captivating way to experience the beauty of the desert without leaving Phoenix. The Garden is a non-profit corporation devoted to the display, research and interpretation of desert plants from all over the world and is a living museum, one of only a few botanic gardens in the country accredited by the American Association of Museums. The Garden’s collection includes over 50,000 catalogued plants representing one of the most important documented collections of desert plants in the world.

At the DBG, you’ll experience the unique and beautiful plants that thrive in some of the hottest and driest parts of the world. Choose one of several Sonoran Desert nature paths or trails, and you’ll see incredible varieties of native flora.

Special rate for conference attendees, just $28 for admission, includes transportation from conference hotel and back. Friends and family are welcome to register for the tour, too.
Registration is closed.
