LOOK HERE! I create high-quality, professional indexes in a timely manner at a reasonable price. And let me say Congratulations on making it to this stage in your book. I offer back-of-the-book indexing services for a variety of subjects specializing in the humanities and liberal arts.

I am a graduate of the UC Berkeley Indexing course, and am a member of the American Society for Indexing (ASI) and the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors (IAPWE). I have also received a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from the University of Colorado at Denver. While there, I also received minor degrees in philosophy and religious studies.

With course work in world religions, Chinese philosophy, death concepts of the afterlife, Islamic politics and culture, religions of India (Hinduism, Buddhism), Goddess traditions, and psychology of religion (including both Freud and Jung), I would be pleased to index books on any of these subjects. I have been interested in religion for many years, and also have experience with paganism, Judaism, Christianity, and Mormonism.

I am also very interested in books about politics and political science. To some, it seems as though politics are in many ways more important now than ever; however, I believe politics have always been and will always be crucial to the well-being of society. Two other closely related subjects I find fascinating are psychology and history. Though I do not have as much experience with these subjects as others, I do enjoy learning about them, and welcome any general readership books in either of these subjects.

I have also always loved films, fantasy, and sci-fi (science fiction). When I’m not indexing, I am working on my own epic fantasy novel. If your book is about any of these, then I am your indexer. It is quite amazing how the hero’s journey crosses over into so many other subjects such as psychology, religion, and myth. We are all really just on our own hero’s journey in our own way.

Another passion of mine are the culinary arts, and I am an avid, self-taught home cook (and fan of the Food Network). I love creating new dishes, modifying old ones, and taking careful notes in my own recipe book so as to always have the ability to recreate favorites.

Finally, as a member and ally of the LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning) community, I know how important acceptance and celebration of diversity are for everyone. I would be proud to index books not just about LGBTQ+ lives and issues, but to work with anyone within our community.
