With a PhD in English and a background in the publishing industry, including six years as an in-house editor for a San Francisco press, I bring a thorough knowledge of academic and publishing practices to my work as a freelance indexer. I specialize in art books, such as exhibition catalogues and artist monographs; scholarly books in the humanities or social sciences; and trade books, especially those focusing on business or legal self-help.
