The conference committee has announced the program for the 2017 ASI annual conference, which will be held in Portland, Maine, from June 15 through June 17.
We are offering an introductory-level class on the first day, The Art of Indexing, Learning, and Refining. We are excited to have Sylvia Coates as this year's instructor. June 16 and 17 will offer two very full days of sessions, with topics including specialty areas, indexing techniques, software for indexers, business issues, the publishing world, and digital and online subjects.
In addition to the sessions, of course, there will be plenty of networking opportunities, two receptions, and an awards banquet. Information about the keynote speaker and the program and schedule have been posted on the 2017 conference page.
